Rising Tennis Star Gets Another Honour

ISLAMABAD, Nov 2 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Nov, 2016 ) : Pakistan's rising tennis star Huzaifa Abdul Rehman earned another distinction when he secured a place in top eight players of Asia in 14 and under age category and qualified to represent Asia in the forthcoming Asian Tennis Federation, Masters Series Asian 14 & Under.
The Masters Championship will be held during 24-26 November, at Astana, Kazakhstan. Huzaifa stands at 3rd position in the top eight players selected from Asia, two players from Uzbekistan, one each from Pakistan, Malaysia, Philippines, Lebanon, Jordan and Kazakhstan, are selected, a spokesman of Pakistan Tennis Federation stated on Wednesday.
Huzaifa is one of the most talented player in this age group in the country. He has been outstanding in several recent events. He ended as runner-up in two tournaments (14 and under Division 2) in Bangkok in January, 2016, was winner in ATF under 14 Islamabad, March 2016.
Similarly, he finished at top in two ATF tournaments in Tehran, August 2016, and was also winner in ATF tournament in Colombo, in October 2016. Salim Saifullah Khan President PTF and other top officials of the federation have felicitated Huzaifa and his family for this remarkable achievement.
