Russian National Ice Hockey Team Beats Switzerland 3:0 at 2019 IIHF World Championship

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th May, 2019) The Russian national ice hockey team won on Sunday the sixth match in a row at the 2019 IIHF World Championship, having beaten the Swiss team 3:0.

The goals were scored by Artyom Anisimov (4th minute) and Nikita Kucherov (two goals in the 27th and 56th minutes).

Both Russia and Switzerland have already qualified for the quarter finals.

The 2019 IIHF World Championship is hosted by the Slovak cities of Bratislava and Kosice.
