KP Delegation Participates In Asian Smart City Conference

A representative delegation of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, led by Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Science and Technology Kamran Bangash, participated in the Asian Smart City Conference held at Japan.
According to an official handout issued here on Thursday, during the same conference at Yokohama City, delegates of various countries presented their projects regarding information technology innovations, while projects of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were also presented on that occasion.
Addressing the conference, the Special Assistant to the CM Kamran Bangash said that in the wake of IT importance, the provincial government was doing visible efforts to develop the same sector as advancement without IT was impossible in the present era.
On this occasion, the delegates of World Bank and Asian development Bank also called on the special assistant and appreciated the projects of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and urged for doing mutual efforts in the future.
The representatives of Uzbekistan in the conference invited the KP delegation for visiting Tashkentand also expressed keen interest for getting technical assistance from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in IT sector.
The Managing Director of provincial IT board, Dr. Shehbaz and Aasim Ishaq were also part of provincial delegation in the conference.
