Russia Created System Of Radiation Control At Near-Earth Orbit - Researcher
Russia has created a system of near-Earth space radiation control and ready to share it with Europe under an existing cooperation agreement, Mikhail Panasyuk, the head of the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics at Lomonosov Moscow State University, told Sputnik in an interview
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th February, 2019) Russia has created a system of near-Earth space radiation control and ready to share it with Europe under an existing cooperation agreement, Mikhail Panasyuk, the head of the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics at Lomonosov Moscow State University, told Sputnik in an interview.
"Russia has created a system of radiation control in the near-Earth space at different orbits, from lower to geostationary ones. It is a big achievement," the researcher said.
The Russian scientists are ready to share the obtained information with European partners who are researching space radiation effects within CRREAT project, Panasyuk added.
