Sanctions against Russia are beginning to fall apart ideologically, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko told Yevropeyskaya Pravda newspaper in an interview published Friday
KIEV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th September, 2019) Sanctions against Russia are beginning to fall apart ideologically, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko told Yevropeyskaya Pravda newspaper in an interview published Friday.
"And we are worried when we are told, ' Well, what's wrong? We will roll over sanctions, the latest stretch is for another six months.
' We say: maybe you will roll them over but sanctions are beginning to ideologically fall apart," Prystaiko said.
The minister argued that visits to Moscow or inviting Russia to join G8 "is also about sanctions."
"The decision of PACE, the invitation to the OSCE session of so-called Crimean organizations, this is all a big sanctions mechanism failing, falling apart, falling to pieces. All of this is degradation of sanctions," the minister said.
