Armenian Foreign Minister Says Wants To Meet Lavrov Within CSTO Ministerial Meeting

YEREVAN (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th May, 2019) Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said on Saturday that he was planning to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Council of Foreign Ministers.
The session of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers will be held on May 22 in Bishkek.
"We saw each other in Helsinki, now we are going to Bishkek, so we will have an opportunity to meet there, we have no limits in communication," Mnatsakanyan told journalists.
He also stated that Lavrov's visit to Armenia was also planned.
"We haven't agreed yet but the visit is planned, it's more a matter of alignment of schedules," Mnatsakanyan said.
The latest Lavrov's visit to Armenia took place in November 2017.
CSTO is an intergovernmental military alliance that was established in 1992 and now includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan as full members.
