Boeing Completes Acquisition Of Leading US Aerospace Parts Distributor - Statement

The planned acquisition of KLX Aerospace Solutions, a leading US distributor of aerospace parts, has been completed, the new parent company Boeing announced in a press release on Monday.
WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 09th October, 2018) The planned acquisition of KLX Aerospace Solutions, a leading US distributor of aerospace parts, has been completed, the new parent company Boeing announced in a press release on Monday.
"The acquisition positions Boeing to compete and win in the $2.8 trillion, 10-year aerospace services market," the release said.
KLX, a major global provider of aviation parts and services in the aerospace industry, currently markets and distributes products for approximately 2,400 manufacturers and offers approximately 1 million catalog items. The company is also a leading supplier of chemicals and composites, the release added.
With approximately 2,000 employees, KLX will continue to operate from the US city of Miami with customer service centers located in more than 15 countries, according to the release.
