Boeing Wins $805Mln To Build MQ-25 Stingray Tanker Drone For US Navy - Pentagon

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 31st August, 2018) US aerospace giant Boeing won more than $805 million to design and build the Navy's MQ-25A Stingray aerial refueling tanker drone, the Defense Department said in a press release.
"The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Missouri, is awarded a ceiling price $805,318,853...
contract to provide the design, development, fabrication, test, verification, certification, delivery, and support of four MQ-25A unmanned air vehicles," the release said on Thursday.
The project is expected to be completed by 2024, the release added.
The MQ-25A is an aerial refueling tanker drone that will be designed to operate off aircraft carriers.
