Emergency Declared In Strasbourg Hospitals - Reports

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 12th December, 2018) An emergency was declared Tuesday in hospitals in the northern French city of Strasbourg after a shooting in downtown, local media said.
The mobilization includes calling additional staff and finding extra beds, according to Le Figaro newspaper.
A man is believed to have opened fire near a Christmas market, killing one and injuring up to ten people, according to media reports.
The shooter is still at large, the city mayor said. The Interior Ministry said an operation by security and rescue forces was underway.
The prefecture of Bas Rhin department tweeted that people living in Neudorf, a district in the south of Strasbourg, and in the vicinity of Parc de l'Etoile, a city park, should not to go outdoors.
