Football: Urawa Top As Kawasaki End Unbeaten J-League Run

TOKYO, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th August, 2016) - Urawa Reds beat Nagoya Grampus 2-0 to reach the top spot in the J-League second stage on Saturday as Kawasaki Frontale snapped their 16-game unbeaten streak this season. Forward Yuki Muto released a 44-minute opener for the Reds followed by Slovenian striker Zlatan's decisive goal in the second half to silence the crowd in Nagoya.
The triumph saw Japan's best-supported club leap to first place, extending its winning run to four games after being held to a draw.
Nagoya remain without a win for a humiliating 16 games this season. Kawasaki, who had been unbeaten since late April, suffered a 1-0 defeat to Sagan Tosu, slipping from top to second place by three points against an upbeat Urawa.
