Macron Expresses Solidarity With Families Of Victims Of Strasbourg Shooting

PARIS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 12th December, 2018) French President Emmanuel Macron expressed on Wednesday solidarity with the families of victims of the deadly shooting in the northeastern French city of Strasbourg.
"[I express] solidarity of the nation with whole Strasbourg, victims and their families," Macron wrote on his Twitter page.
According to the French Interior Ministry, three people were killed as a result of the shooting near the Christmas fair in Strasbourg, while another 12 were injured. The shooter is still at large. Media reported that the suspect was a 29-year-old native of Strasbourg, who was previously convicted for an armed attack.
French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner, who arrived in Strasbourg following the attack, said that six victims were in critical condition.
