Pompeo Says Discussed Khashoggi Case, Syrian Conflict With Cavusoglu

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st November, 2018) US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that he has discussed with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu on Tuesday the case of the murdered Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi and the conflict settlement in Syria.
"We also discussed the Khashoggi case and the need to work together to deescalate conflict in Syria, support the reinvigoration of the UN-led peace process and achieve a peaceful lasting solution to the Syrian conflict," Pompeo told reporters.
