Russian President Vladimir Putin will discuss on February 14 at a three-party meeting in Sochi with his Iranian and Turkish counterparts Hassan Rouhani and Recep Tayyip Erdogan joint steps required for the long-term normalization of the situation in Syria, the Kremlin press service said in a statement Monday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th February, 2019) Russian President Vladimir Putin will discuss on February 14 at a three-party meeting in Sochi with his Iranian and Turkish counterparts Hassan Rouhani and Recep Tayyip Erdogan joint steps required for the long-term normalization of the situation in Syria, the Kremlin press service said in a statement Monday.

"On February 14, in Sochi, Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the fourth three-party meeting of the heads of states-guarantors of the Astana process to assist Syrian settlement. During the talks with Iranian and Turkish presidents Rouhani and Erdogan, there is an intention to consider further joint steps toward long-term normalization of the situation in Syria," it said.

Putin is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with the leaders of Iran and Turkey.
