Russian President Vladimir Putin will leave for Singapore on Monday evening for a three-day visit, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"In the evening the president will depart for Singapore and will work there on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday," Peskov told reporters.
Last week, presidential aide Yury Ushakov told reporters that Putin will hold talks with his Singaporean counterpart Halimah Yacob and Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in Singapore on November 13, with a range of interministerial agreements and commercial contracts set to be signed as a result of these negotiations. During the visit, Putin will also hold talks with the prime ministers of Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia, and South Korea's president.
On Sunday, the East Asia Summit (EAS) started in Singapore and it will last through Thursday.
