A Tunisian delegation is currently in Libya to finalize an agreement to exchange Libyan oil for Tunisian consumer goods, Tunisia's Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui said during an audition at the parliamentary commission on rights, freedom and external relations.
He added that ''talks are still ongoing but we have agreed with the Libyan brothers on a return to exchange operations with oil for consumer goods''.
Over the past few months, Tunisian Trade Minister Omar Behi had announced an accord on ''Oil for food''with Libya, sparking a controversy with the Libyan side and forcing the Tunisian government to clarify the statement.
