The dialogue between US Special Envoy for North Korea Mark Lambert and high-ranking Russian diplomats during the Monday meeting in Moscow on the denuclearization of North Korea was candid and constructive, the US Embassy in Russia said
Lambert met with Russian deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and Ambassador-at-Large Oleg Burmistrov earlier in the day to discuss efforts aimed at ensuring complete and fully verifiable denuclearization of North Korea.
"The conversation was candid and constructive," the embassy said in a press release.
"During the meetings, Special Envoy Lambert shared with his counterparts the United States' continued commitment to making progress on the transformation of U.S.-DPRK relations and the establishment of a lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula, in parallel with progress on complete denuclearization," the embassy added.
