Caracas will proceed with legal steps to recover its assets blocked in foreign banks, Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez said Friday in Moscow
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 01st March, 2019) Caracas will proceed with legal steps to recover its assets blocked in foreign banks, Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez said Friday in Moscow.
"You know what happens to Venezuelan oil assets in the United States, and other counties, which show intolerance to Venezuela, which deprive Venezuela of its assets, of its financial resources.
We can name the United Kingdom, whose government via the Bank of England decided to appropriate Venezuelan gold. Venezuela will proceed with legal steps to guarantee our right for defense, our right for hearings and return our legitimate assets and legitimate interests in those countries where it's necessary," Rodriguez said.
