Pakistan Forest Institute (PFI) will hold a two-day awareness seminar on February 6-7 on plantation of eucalyptus tree with a view to address the increasing concern among the masses on its plantation

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jan, 2019 ) :Pakistan Forest Institute (PFI) will hold a two-day awareness seminar on February 6-7 on plantation of eucalyptus tree with a view to address the increasing concern among the masses on its plantation.

The institute has invited experts in the field to discuss the effects of the tree on environment and land and gave their suggestions for future planning.

The plant is locally known as Gond, Lachi and Sufaida about which the people were of the view that its plantation cause depletion of underground water level.
