Soil Sampling Campaign Continues In Mianwali

The district agriculture department's campaign for collection of soil samples is in full swing, which will be completed till June 30.

MIANWALI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2018 ) :The district agriculture department's campaign for collection of soil samples is in full swing, which will be completed till June 30. The campaign is aimed at providing guidelines to farmers about fertility of lands and for enhancing their production.

According to Agriculture Officer Abdul Majid, so far 10,342 samples have been collected from various areas of the district. He said that the samples had been sent to soil and water testing laboratories.

He said farmers should adopt modern methods of farming for enhancing per acre production. He disclosed that all data of such samples would be available online for assistance and guidelines for farmers.
