Govt Receives Positive Response After Announcing Tax Amnesty Scheme:Haroon Akhtar Khan

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue, Senator Haroon Akhtar Khan on Friday said that government was receiving positive response after announcing the tax amnesty scheme for the people hiding their assets abroad due to insecurity.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2018 ) :Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue, Senator Haroon Akhtar Khan on Friday said that government was receiving positive response after announcing the tax amnesty scheme for the people hiding their assets abroad due to insecurity.

The concerned department had been asked to upload the forms so that the people having undeclared assets abroad could enjoy the benefit from the scheme, he said while talking to a private news channel.

He said business community and chambers had shown positive response after announcing this scheme. To a question, he said Federal board of Revenue had also explained the procedure for proceeding the tax.
