Market Committee Issues Price List Of Vegetables, Fruits

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Augst,2016) : The Islamabad Market Committee on Friday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits. According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato per kilogram is Rs 35, Onion Rs 30, Tomato 62, Ginger Rs 80, Garlic (China) Rs 275, Garlic Desi 255, Lemon Rs 74, Lady Finger Rs 62, Green Zucchini Rs 62, Pumpkin Rs 52, Brinjal Rs 44, Peas Rs 120, Farsh Bean Rs 76, Tanda Desi Rs 76, Cucumber Rs 36, Capsicum Rs 78/55, Green Chilli Rs 38, Cauliflower Rs 88/65, Cabbage Rs 62, Bittergourd Rs 46, Spinach Rs 33/24, Turnip Rs 52, Yam Rs 45, Maroo Rs 46, Carrot Rs 92, Chicken Rs 117 and Egg per dozen Rs 99.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 150/120, Apple Gaja Rs 90/60, Apple China Rs 195/150, Apple New Zealand Rs 265/230, Banana Pak Rs 88/48, Pear China Rs 160/130, Grapes 145/125, Gava 82/60, Peach Rs 100/75, Garma Rs 64/50, Mango Najri Rs 68/50, Mango Chaunsa White Rs 100/75, Mango Chaunsa Black Rs 64/50 and Mango Ratool Rs 105/75. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
