Shipping Activity At Port Qasim 13 Dec 2018

Five ships Wisby Atlantilc, Stat Fighter, Athos, MT Glorious and MOL Gate Way carrying Edible Oil, Coal, Project Cargo, Gas Oil and Containers were allotted berths at Port Qasim on Wednesday.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Dec, 2018 ) :Five ships Wisby Atlantilc, Stat Fighter, Athos, MT Glorious and MOL Gate Way carrying Edible Oil, Coal, Project Cargo, Gas Oil and Containers were allotted berths at Port Qasim on Wednesday.

While another ship M.V Maersk Benton Ville carrying Containers also arrived at the outer anchorage of Port Qasim on Thursday morning.

A total of eleven ships were occupying PQA berths to load/offload Containers, Coal, Soya Bean Seeds, Steel coil, Project Cargo, LPG and Palm oil respectively.

Cargo handling remained at the Port at 105,511 tonnes, comprising 73,923 tonnes imports cargo and 31,578 tonnes export cargo, inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2,490 Containers, (TEUs), (828 TEUs imports and 1,662 TEUs exports) was handled during last 24 hours.

Five ships Sea Fortune, Tempanos, Vita Ocean, Hyundai Dubai and Maersk Bentonville were expected to take berths at EVTL, QICT, FAP, MW-2, and QICT respectively on Thursday.
