Tokyo Stocks Down At Break As US Poll Jitters Lift Yen

TOKYO, Nov 4, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) - Tokyo stocks tumbled on Friday as uncertainty over the US election boosted the Yen, sparking a sell-off in exporters. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index fell 1.44 percent, or 245.90 points, to 16,888.78 by the break, while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 1.70 percent, or 23.20 points, at 1,345.24.
