US Trade Commission To Investigate Import, Sale Of Certain Vehicle Parts

An investigation has started into the import and sale of certain vehicles and vehicle components, the US International Trade Commission said in a press release on Tuesday.

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th September, 2018) An investigation has started into the import and sale of certain vehicles and vehicle components, the US International Trade Commission said in a press release on Tuesday.

"The US International Trade Commission (USITC) has voted to institute an investigation of certain motorized vehicles and components thereof," the release said.

The release explained the complaint was filed by the automaker FCA US of Auburn Hills, Michigan, against Mahindra and Mahindra Limited of Mumbai, India and Mahindra Automotive North America in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

The complaint said the Mahindra companies are importing products that infringe on a trade dress and trademarks, the release said.
