The United States will not offer any grace period to countries currently purchasing Iranian oil under Significant Reduction Exceptions (SREs), US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said during a press conference on Monday

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd April, 2019) The United States will not offer any grace period to countries currently purchasing Iranian oil under Significant Reduction Exceptions (SREs), US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said during a press conference on Monday.

"The current waivers expire on midnight May 1. There are SRE waivers that extend beyond that period, full stop," Pompeo told reporters.
