ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2018 ) :Women stall-holders here at H-9 weekly bazaar Saturday demanded to allot large size shops to them, as they were running their business in small stalls to earn for their family members.
They told APP, they wanted to expand their business but it was not possible as existing allocated place was not sufficient for the purpose. They said that they were running different kinds of stalls with having second-hand clothes, home accessories and food items.
Saima Bibi, a stall holder said that it would be more better, if bazaar management selected separate places for businesswomen by allocating large size shops to them so that they could earn in more better way.
She said "My small stall is the only source of earning for small kids and ailing husband.
It is not possible to expand my business and earn more money for my family when I have this small stall in the bazaar." Zareena Khan, another stall holder said "I am running my business with satisfaction as it is really a great experience for me to start my own business but the bazaar management should make policies separately for businessmen and businesswomen, keeping in view the problems being faced by businesswomen." Aima Khalid, a stallholder said "I am contributing in running the affairs of my home as the salary of my husband is too meager." She urged the authorities concerned to allot large shop in order to earn enough money for her family.
