Governor Urges Doctors To Serve Ailing Community, Country With Dedication

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Shah Farman Friday said people associated with medical field should serve the ailing humanity with dedication
He was speaking as the chief guest at the10th convocation of Khyber College of Dentistry (KCD) here. He distributed degrees among 154 graduate doctors and awarded gold medals to 56 position holders.
The convocation was attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health Hisham Inam Ullah, Vice Chancellor KMU Prof Dr. Arshad Javed and Dean KCD Prof Dr. Ghulam Rasool, faculty members, students and their parents.
Appreciating the role of KCD in medical field he said that young doctors were lucky to get learning opportunities at one of the most prestigious and historic institutions of the country.
Congratulating the graduates, their parents and faculties, the governor hoped that graduates would serve the ailing humanity in true spirit without involving themselves in commercialism.
Earlier, Dean of KCR, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Rasool presented annual report and said that the college had emerged as one of the premier institutions of dental education in the country.
