KP Body Discusses Matters Relating To Schools, Enrollment Of New Students

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly's Standing Committee on Elementary and Secondary Education in its first meeting Thursday discussed matters relating to up-gradation and construction of new schools, enrollment of new students and judicious utilization of funds
The meeting was chaired by Taj Muhammad Khan and among others was attended by Sardar Hussain Babak, Mian Nisar Gul, Asif Khan, Special Secretary Education Arshad Khan and concerned officials.
Speaking on the occasion Sardar Hussain Babak stressed extension of voucher scheme, ensuring admission facilities to students, launching of new programs and increasing efficacy of ongoing education programs.
Mian Nisar Gul said that unnecessary appointments and transfer of teacher should be avoided as academic year is near completion.
Addressing the meeting, the Chairman of the committee directed officials of Education and concerned departments to ensure their presence in next meeting for discussion pending matters.
He also sought a detailed briefing on new five years plan initiated by KP Education Department.
He also expressed shock over the retirement of teachers on medical ground and directed to resolve the issue on permanent basis.
