Women University, Swabi Launches University Merit Based Scholarship Program

The Women University, Swabi has launched "University Merit Based Scholarship Program" to encourage its students and to create a competitive environment for them.
SWABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jul, 2018 ) :The Women University, Swabi has launched "University Merit Based Scholarship Program" to encourage its students and to create a competitive environment for them.
A ceremony was organized by the University for the distribution of cheques among the meritorious students of the University in the Main Hall of the University here Friday.
The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khanzadi Fatima Khattak, FRSC, FCSP was the chief guest at the occasion. Cheques were given to 105 students who secured first, second and third positions in 17 disciplines of BS 4-year and master programs.
The VC on this occasion said that she strongly believes in quality education and universities must play their role to equip students with knowledge, skills, ethical values and social responsibility.
She said with this vision and promise, we here at Women University' Swabi are trying our level best to transform our young females into good human beings and responsible citizens.
The launching of "University Merit Based Scholarship Program" is part of our noble mission to "Educate Girls and Redefine the World".
Prof. Khattak appreciated the hard work of the awardees and encouraged them to further enhance their capabilities and improve their learning skills. She said, I hope that the students of this University will play their due and positive role in the society and bring laurel to the University and for the whole nation.
At the end, she appreciated the efforts of Dr. Munawar Shah,Deputy Director FAD and Miss Sidra Feroz, Assistant Director FAD forsuccessfully accomplishing the job.
