Commissioner Kalat Division Muhammad Hashim Ghilzai chaired a meeting of divisional Task Fours for Anti-Polio campaign on Tuesday at his Office. Additional Commissioner Kalat Division Major (retired) Aurang Zaib Badeni, Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Qambrani, Deputy Commissioner Lasbella Mir Shabir Ahmed Mengal, Deputy Commissioner Mastung Abdul Jabbar Baloch, Divisional Director Health Dr, Muhammad Murad Mengal, representative of Prime Minister for Anti-Polio Campaign Dr, Shafi Danish, District Health Officer (DHO) Khuzdar Dr, Soomaar Khan Sasoli, Director Livestock Dr, Muhammad Anwar Zehri, Nasir Baloch M and E, PPhI,WHO representative Dr, Muhammad Umar Mangal, Deputy DHO Lasbella, Dr, Basant Kumar, DHO Mastung Dr, Muhammad Shuaib, representative of WHO were also attended the meeting.
Commissioner was briefed about preparation of starting of anti-polio Campaign from April 9 till 12. Commissioner Kalat Division Muhammad Hashim Ghilzai said it is pleasure that there no polio case was reported in last three years in Kalat district.
He said police was an enemy of our innocent children while scholars, tribal elders and media community would play their important role to eliminate polio disease from the district. "It is not only the government responsibility to get rid off polio disease, but it is also responsible of all segments of people to cooperate with polio workers for ending such disease", he added.
Commissioner Kalat Division also gave award to Deputy Director Livestock Dr, Muhammad Anwar Zehri over best performance during polio campaign in the district.
