SILANWALI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2019 ) :District Health Officer (DHO) Sargodha, Sohail Asghar Qazi Tuesday inspected the ongoing anti polio drive at Tehsil Headquarter Hospital (THQ) here on Tuesday.

Talking to media persons, he said that at least 621,000 children upto the age of five years would be administered anti polio drops in the campaign.

As many as, 1420 mobile, 198 fixed and 81 transit teams would administered anti polio drops to children of 167 union councils of the district, he added.

The DHO said that all-out efforts would be made to achieve the targets and for this purpose special counters had been set up at all bus stations and railway stations.

He urged the parents and civil society to cooperate with polio staff so that the next generations could be safe from the crippling disease.
