'Mother & Child Hospital' In Five Districts Of Punjab

A meeting under Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmin Rashid has made initial framework for establishment of "Mother & child hospital" at five districts of Punjab.
"The 'Mother & Child Hospital' would be constructed in Bahawalnagar, Attock, Rajanpur, Layyah and Mianwali" said the minister.
The Mother & Child Hospitals would be launched in the districts having lack of medical facilities. Senior gynecologists would be posted in each hospital, she said.
She directed the officials to prepare PC-I of the project to get approval from the chief minister.
Meanwhile, Dr Yasmin Rashid presided over a meeting of the Punjab Health Foundation and approved "Road Show" on interest free loans for private sector doctors, homeopaths and hakeems which would be held on November 18 in the city.
She directed MD Punjab Health Foundation to invite all stakeholders for consultation. "We are not only providing jobs on government level but also working on provision of opportunities in the private sector," she concluded.
