ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2018 ) :Senator, PML-N Lt Gen (Retd) Abdul Qayyum Khan has urged international community to take notice of Indian barbaric activities in Occupied Kashmir valley.

Talking to Radio Programme, he said Indian forces are involved in worst brutalities and using pellet guns against unarmed and innocent Kashmiris. International community is silent over Indian violations of human rights in Held Kashmir for the sake of its national interest.

Seventy years of Indian illegal occupation over a major part of disputed Kashmir has transformed this region into a vast garrisoned territory, senator said. Abdul Qayyum said Kashmiris never reconciled with the division of their homeland and resisted Indian rule for last many decades, in the hope that a promised UN-mandated referendum would give them a chance to determine their political future.

Indian agencies are involved in efforts to destabilize Pakistan through terror activities, he added. The apprehended Kulbhushan Jadhav himself admitted that he was assigned the task by the Indian government to sabotage CPEC to destabilize the economy of Pakistan.

IR Expert Dr. Huma Baqai also said, India is becoming the center of regional politics and keeping in view the ground realities, Western countries are supporting India for the sake of national interests and countering China in the region.

United States is backing India and Indian government is given free hand to violate human rights in Indian Held Kashmir, she said. She said Pakistan will keep on playing an active role in this regard. Indian state-sponsored terrorism in Indian Occupied Kashmir is being criticized by many other countries.
