Restrictions On Muharram Processions In IOK Denounced

:The Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq while condemning the restrictions across Srinagar to prevent Muharram procession has said that the city was held hostage by the Indian authorities.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2018 ) :The Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq while condemning the restrictions across Srinagar to prevent Muharram procession has said that the city was held hostage by the Indian authorities.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar said, "Srinagar was held hostage by rulers to disallow Muharram procession. Curbs and restrictions were imposed on people's movement everywhere." He said that roads and alleys leading to hospitals especially Soura hospital, Srinagar, wereblocked and sick people were made to suffer. "Harassment of people keeps getting worse by the day,"the Mirwaiz said.
