21 Illegal Commercial Vehicles Impounded In Multan

The district administration Tuesday launched a crackdown against illegal commercial vehicles at different routes and impounded 21 vehicles.
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Mar, 2018 ) :The district administration Tuesday launched a crackdown against illegal commercial vehicles at different routes and impounded 21 vehicles.
A special team led by secretary Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) Muhammad Farooq Dogar, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Nadir Chatha, impounded 21 vehicles and imposed fine of more than Rs 43,000 for violating different rules.
The secretary also took illegal LPG cylinders into custody from a number of vehicles. He said owners of wagons should have to follow certain rules to ensure safety of human lives. He appealed to drivers and owners of vehicles to cooperate with the district administration in the larger public interest.
