District administration Peshawar demolished over 50 illegally constructed shops in grand anti-encroachment operation on Dalazak Road here Friday.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Oct, 2018 ) :District administration Peshawar demolished over 50 illegally constructed shops in grand anti-encroachment operation on Dalazak Road here Friday.
The anti-encroachment operation has been begun under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr.
Imran Hamid Sheikh.
Besides, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Shahid Ali Khan, Assistant Commissioner (AC), Sara Rehman, SDO Irrigation Saifullah Khan, DSP Faqirabad, Abdul Salam Khalid and officers of WSSP, Rescue 1122, SNGPL, PESCO and other departments attended the meeting at large.
A heavy contingent of police was also deployed to prevent any unpleasant incident during the operation.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh has said that operation against encroachment will continue. He said that in this connection, the administration has already demolished encroachments from Sardar Colony, Hassan Ghari, Namak Mandi, Mathani Bazaar, University Town and other localities have been removed.
He said that in a similar operation more than 50 illegal constructions were demolished in an operation on Dalazak Road.
The DC has warned encroachment mafia in all localities of the district to abolish their illegalconstructions voluntarily otherwise it would be demolished through heavymachinery and stern legal action would be also taken against them.
