AJK PM Urges European Union To Probe Into Mass Graves, Use Of Pellet

MIRPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2016 ) : Prime Minister of AJK Muhammad Raja Farooq Haider Khan Monday called upon European Union to probe mass graves and use of pellet guns which many Kashmir becomes victims of Indian atrocities.
Talking to reporters at Kashmir House after getting back to home on Monday from the week-long visit of European Union (EU), the AJK Prime Minister said Pakistan could not remain oblivious to the brutalities in Kashmir by Indian forces.
He along with delegation presented the Kashmir issue in new dimension, adding its fundamental right of Kashmiris to decide their future after getting freedom from India. He called upon the European Union to send a fact finding mission in Occupied Kashmir to analyze bleak human rights scenario in Occupied territory.
The PM said Indian Army intentionally targeted the civilians settled near Line of Control (LoC), adding many civilians became victims of Indian firing during two weeks. He said if war would be started between India Pakistan it would provide bad results to other countries.
The AJK Prime Minister also said implementation of the UN resolutions on Kashmir should be assured. Farooq Haider said Pakistani and Kashmir youth settled abroad especially in the European Union would be engaged to sensitize the European people about the lingering dispute.
The AJK PM said there are concerns in the European Union about human rights violations and the use of pellet guns by the Indian troops.
Farooq Haider said resolution of Kashmir dispute is imperative for durable peace in South Asia.
He also appreciated Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for forcefully raising the Kashmir dispute at the UN General Assembly session. Raja Farooq Haider expressed his satisfaction over people of Pakistan, government, foreign office and policy of Pakistan regarding Kashmir issue.
The PM congratulates the Federal Government for the beginning of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and said it is game changer for Pakistan as well as region. He said that if international community ignored resolving Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolution, its result will be fatal.
He said that during visit of EU, he informed them that due to firing on line of control dozens of Kashmiries martyred and thousands displaced. He said that during visit, they also met Amnesty International officials and briefed them about the overall situation of Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir.
He appreciated the support of EU members including Sajjad Karim, Raja Afzal Khan, Pakistan Ambassador to Belgium Johair Saleem and Kashmir Council Europe Chairman Ali Raza Sayed. Raja Farooq Haider said, Kashmiris need help from outside of the world special Europe should come forward to stop genocide and brutal crimes against humanity in IHK.
He also asked EU to keep in view human rights situation in the Held Kashmir while having free trade agreement with India.
