Awami National Party (ANP) leadership expressed grave concern over 'pre-poll rigging' in general elections 2018.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2018 ) :Awami National Party (ANP) leadership expressed grave concern over 'pre-poll rigging' in general elections 2018.
Addressing a press conference at Peshawar Press Club here Monday, former Senator Ilyas Bilour said that pre-poll rigging was continued in favour of one party, adding that all the political parties have grave concern over general elections. He said that ANP will contest elections in any condition and expressed the hope to win in the province. ANP has restarted electioneering after suicide attack on on ANP leader Haroon Bilour, he told.
Responding a question, Ilyas Bilour said that no one has contacted about the inquiry of suicide attack of Yakatoot and they have no information about any updates in this regard.
On this occasion, Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) provincial media in-charge Muhammad Iqbal Khan announced joining ANP. ANPs PK-76 candidate Hidayatullah Khan and PK-77 candidate Muhammad Umer were also present.
Muhammad Iqbal Khan said that he joined ANP as it is the party of respectable people. He said that ANP is the party in which poor and rich are being treated equally. He expressed the hope that ANP leadership would play vital role in elimination of corruption in the province.
