ANP Fields Haroon Bilour's Widow As Candidate For PK-78

Awami National Party (ANP) has nominated Samar Haroon Bilour, the widow of Shaheed Haroon Bilour as candidate for the provincial assembly constituency PK-78 Peshawar in the bye-elections while candidates for five more vacant seats were also announced.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Aug, 2018 ) :Awami National Party (ANP) has nominated Samar Haroon Bilour, the widow of Shaheed Haroon Bilour as candidate for the provincial assembly constituency PK-78 Peshawar in the bye-elections while candidates for five more vacant seats were also announced.
The decision to award tickets for the party candidates in the bye-elections was taken during a meeting of the Parliamentary Board held at Bacha Khan Markaz, said a press release issued here Monday.
Polling on PK-78 Peshawar was cancelled due to the assassination of ANP candidate, Haroon Bilour during a rally of the election campaign.
The members of the Parliamentary Board including Sardar Hussain Babak, Aimal Wali Khan, Khurshid Khattak and Syed Shahid Raza attended the meeting.
The meeting announced candidates for the vacant seats of the provincial assembly vacated in wake of the formation of governments. According to the decision taken by the parliamentary board Waqar Ahmad Khan will be candidate for PK-7, Swat, Ghulam Hassan forPK-44 Swabi, Ahmad Bahadar Khan PK-53 Mardan, Pervez Ahmad Khan PK-61 Nowsheraand Shahid Khattak for PK-63 respectively.
