Around 0.7 million tourists from across the country visited different beautiful northern areas of the country so far to enjoy the current winter season along with their families and children
Islamabad, , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2017 ) :Around 0.7 million tourists from across the country visited different beautiful northern areas of the country so far to enjoy the current winter season along with their families and children.
According to an official of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) on Tuesday , thousands of tourists from the country and abroad are visiting Murree, Naran , Kaghan, Gilgit-Baltistan , Galiyat to enjoy winter season over the beautiful hills of northern areas ./ He said every year in winter season tourists rushed to different hill resorts to enjoy the snowfall especially along with their families.
"All the restaurants and rest houses were filled with tourists .
The hotels business is at its peak in this season. Almost all the small and big hotels are booked" , he added. The Mall Road which is the visitor's hub of Murree is flooded with tourists in this cold weather , he said.
Tourists are enjoying hot coffee and tea while walking on the Mall and at shopping centres. There is a huge rush in restaurants and cafes that people have to wait for hours to get seats for tea and meal , he added.
Businessmen and shopkeepers of the city seemed happy over the increased business activity in this winter season I am enjoying the weather here, said a visitor Asad Haroon. He demanded the local administration to develop more recreational activities to attract visitors .
