Bilawal Bhutto Visits Free Eye Camp Set Up By PDF

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Jan, 2017 ) :- Chairman, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Thursday visited a free eye camp setup on the eve of the 89th Birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
The two day eye camp was set up under the supervision of its central president of PDF Senator Dr. Karim Khawaja and District President of PDF Larkana Dr. Shoukat Ali Abro at Mausoleum of Bhutto family at Ghari Khuda Bux Bhutto.
It was organized by Peoples Doctors Forum (PDF) in collaboration with Society for the prevention of Eye diseases. Bilawal Bhutto was accompanied by President PPP (Women Wing) MNA Faryal Talpur, President PPP-P Sindh and Senior Sindh Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Sindh Minister for Agriculture Suhail Anwar Siyal, MNA Ramesh Lal, MNA Nazir Ahmed Bughio, MPA Khursheed Ahmed Junejo, MPA Muhammad Ali Bhutto, Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Abdul Fateh Bhutto and others also visited the camp.
They took round the camp, enquired the health of the patients and distributed free medicines and sweets among them. On the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said, "It is our duty to serve the poor and to get their problems solved." He added that according to PPP manifesto it was doing its level best to change the lot of the poor masses of the country.
Some 180 eye patients were operated upon and provided lenses, 1150 were checked and cured at the camp. Senator Dr. Karim Khwaja also briefed about the two-day free Eye camp. The doctors included Senator Dr.
Karim Khawaja, Dr. Shoukat Abro, Dr. Afzal Abro & Para-medical Staff were present in the camp. Senior doctors and a team of doctors of Society for the prevention of Eyes diseases Karachi and others extended free services in the camp.
