HYDERABAD/UMERKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jan, 2020 ) :Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that late Syed Ali Mardan Shah was a senior leader and asset of Pakistan People's party and his death deprived the party of a committed politician.

He said this while talking to media persons here on Wednesday after offering fateha with the bereaved family at village Khararo of district Umerkot.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also visited the residence of late Syed Ali Mardan Shah at village Khararo and offered fateha for the departed soul with the chairman district council Umerkot Syed Noor Ali Shah (brother), Syed Amir Ali Shah (son) and provincial Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah (nephew) of the deceased.

The member Sindh Assembly and former provincial Minister Syed Ali Mardan Shah had passed away due to cardiac arrest Sunday evening at his village in district Umerkot. He was senior politician and also served as provincial Minister in previous PPP government.
