KARACHI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 14th March, 2019) Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Thursday launched a Green Sindh' plantation drive initiated by the provincial government.The plantation campaign has been formally launched by Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari who arrived in at Benazir Bhutto Park located in Karachi's Boat Basin area.While addressing the launching ceremony, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said, "I'm happy that Green Sindh [plantation] campaign has been commenced now." He said that pro-environmental steps were necessary to be taken citing global requirements to prevent hazards of climate change.He said that Asif Ali Zardari had taken the environment-friendly initiative of one person, one tree' and the PPP is moving forward in accordance with the vision of Asif Ali Zardari.The PPP chairman reminded that the Sindh government had thrice shattered Guinness world records of planting trees.

He announced to plant saplings in different areas in different areas including parks and river banks.Bilawal said that the provincial authorities had been asked to put the focus on planting fruit trees.

He praised efforts of Sindh government and provincial wildlife department for taking environment-friendly initiatives.When questioned regarding his marriage, Bilawal answered that he will not deliver any comment regarding his marriage in a press conference.The PPP chairman once again slammed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government, saying that the ministers, who were making higher claims for the national economy, should tender their resignations.

He alleged that the Federal government is committing the financial massacre of the nationals.He reiterated that the PPP leadership did not accept fake report' released by a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) which had probed into fake accounts' case.

Bilawal claimed that transferring the case from Sindh to Rawalpindi came under violation of regulations.Minister for Works and Services, Nasir Hussain Shah, said that the Sindh government will plant two billion saplings in five years across the province. NNI
