Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar assures MPAs of swift solution to their problems

Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar on Tuesday said a strategy had been devised to solve problems of lawmakers and their proposals would also be taken care of.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Oct, 2018 ) :Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar on Tuesday said a strategy had been devised to solve problems of lawmakers and their proposals would also be taken care of.

He stated this while presiding over separate meetings of members of provincial assembly hailing from Multan and Sahiwal divisions at his Punjab assembly chamber.

He also listened to MPAs' problems and discussed different proposals for their solution and issued on-the-spot directives.

The chief minister said that consultation process with the assembly members would continue, saying that liaison would be strengthened further and problems of the assembly members would be timely solved. "All genuine problems of the assembly members will be solved swiftly," he assured the members of delegations.

The chief minister said he was well aware of problems of southern Punjab districts adding that practical steps would be taken instead of indulging in any lip service.

"A plan has been devised to start Nishtar Hospital-II in Multan," he told the MPAs.

Usman Buzdar said that the number of Arazi Centres would be increased to facilitate people. In the first phase, he said, 102 Arazi Centres would be established along with 20 mobile Arazi Centres to provide services in far-flung areas of the province.

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision would be materialised jointly for bringing about a meaningful change in the country.

Also talking to women assembly members, the chief minister said that the PTI government would provide equal opportunities for women empowerment, adding that women parliamentarians played a crucial role in PTI's political struggle. "Implementation of the proposals, put forth by woman parliamentarians will be examined and womenfolk will be given their due status in society," he said adding that women parliamentarians should play their role so that a meaningful change could be ensured in society.

Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, provincial ministers, chief secretary, ACS, IG police and secretaries attended the meeting.
