Commissioner For Joint Efforts To Resolve Heavy Traffic Issues In Karachi

Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shalwani on Thursday said that all stakeholders will have to jointly endeavor to resolve the long-standing problem of heavy traffic in the metropolis.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Dec, 2018 ) :Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shalwani on Thursday said that all stakeholders will have to jointly endeavor to resolve the long-standing problem of heavy traffic in the metropolis.

The Commissioner said this while speaking at a review meeting on heavy traffic problems in the city, at his office here, said a statement.

The meeting was organized in compliance with the directives of the High Court of Sindh.

The meeting also discussed the report of a technical committee presented by the Sindh Secretary Transport.

The Commissioner Karachi along with Mayor Karachi and Secretary Transport will present the report before the Sindh High Court on December 14.

The Sindh Secretary Transport, the DIG Traffic, the KDA Director General, deputy commissioners, officials of Pakistan Railways, Cantonment boards, representatives of oil tankers association and other stakeholders attended the meeting.
