Dacoits Gang Smashed

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july, 2016) : The police have ararested three members of an inter-district gang of dacoits including the ring leader. DPO, Dr. Abid Khan disclosed this while talking to the newsmen here Wednesday.

He said that the police had arrested three accused Yasir, Walayat and Kherat, who used to loot the petrol pumps while wearing the police uniforms during the so called inspection of the filling stations.

DPO said that the police arrested accused Walayat and Yasir from Sharaqpur Sharif (Sheikhupura District) and Kherat Ali from Lahore. He said that the accused have confessed to loot as many as 19 different filling stations while wearing police and elite force uniforms during the separate incidents located at Sialkot, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Lahore, Okara, Kasur and Multan districts. DPO announced cash prizes and appreciation certificates for the raiding police teams.
