ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jan, 2017 ) : Hurriyet leaders and the High Court Bar Association in Indian occupied Kashmir have decided to provide all possible help to the family of Muzaffar Ahmad Rather, a Kulgam youth sentenced to death by an Indian court in a fake case.
Muzaffar Ahmed Rather of Khee-Jogipora village of Kulgam district was sentenced to death on Saturday. Muzaffar Rather, an 8th class student, had gone missing in 2002 from his residence in Kulgam, and his arrest was shown by Indian Border Security Force in Kolkata in 2007, reported KMS.
All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) spokesman, Ayaz Akbar, in an interview in Srinagar said that they provided legal help to the Kashmiris who were implicated in fake cases. "We will discuss this case with our legal cell.
Then the legal cell will decide what possible help can be provided to the family," he maintained.
Sokesman of Mirwaiz-led Hurriyet forum, Shahid-ul-Islam in a media interview in Srinagar said that the forum would provide all possible help to the family to challenge the court order.
"We have been providing legal aid to so many cases. "We have sought the file of the case. We will provide the family all possible help to pursue Muzaffar's case," he added. General Secretary of the High Court Bar Association, Bashir Siddique said that they would provide possible assistance to the family in the case.
"It is not practically possible for the association to send lawyers to West Bengal and plead the case in the hostile environment. But we will coordinate with the best lawyers of the West Bengal to plead the case. Whatever will be possible for us, we will do it," Bashir added.
