Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Assures Security At Holy Places

The Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad, Ghulam Qadir Junejo, has said the security of Qadam Gah Moula Ali (RA) and the shrine of Sakhi Abdul Wahab Shah Jeelani will be brought at par with the modern security system.

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2018 ) :The Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad, Ghulam Qadir Junejo, has said the security of Qadam Gah Moula Ali (RA) and the shrine of Sakhi Abdul Wahab Shah Jeelani will be brought at par with the modern security system.

Speaking at a meeting which was attended by the concerned officials and representatives of the shrines, the DC assured that comprehensive security mechanism would be put in place. The DC said the encroachments around Qadam Gah and the shrine would be removed and the parking of vehicles in proximity of the 2 places would be banned.

He acknowledged the problem of drainage in the area which creates problems for the devotees and management.

Junejo said the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) had been directed to resolve the problem of drainage on a permanent basis.

The DC informed that in order to avoid the power outages Hyderabad Electric Supply Company was providing alternate electric connections to Qadam Gah and the shrine. Commenting on the complaints about the security problem posed by the vehicles spare parts market, the DC assured that the market would be relocated to some other area.

The officials of WASA, HMC, Assistant Commissioner City taluka and representatives of the 2 places attended the meeting.
