Dr Baig Nominated Chairman FICAC Southern Asia Region

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Oct, 2016 ) : A prominent businessman, Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig has been nominated as the Chairman of the Public Relations and Media Central Committee of World Federation of Consuls (FICAC), says an announced here on Wednesday.

It said that Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig is the honorary Consul General of Yemen in Sindh and the president of the honorary Consular Corps in the province and Director on the board of World Federation of Consuls (WFC).

He has been nominated as Chairman WFC Southern Asia Region at the recent Board of Directors meeting of WFC in Brussels.

Dr. Baig will be responsible for India, Pakistan, Iran, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan and Afghanistan and would be dealing with their National Consular Corps in WFC.

Dr Baig termed his appointment as a great honor for him and Pakistan and thanked the President Aykut Eken and BOD of WFC for their confidence reposed upon him. Dr. Baig was also the Chairman Public Relation & Media Central Committee of World Federation of Consuls (FICAC).
