Eight Day Photo Exhibition Begins At Nishter Hall

PESHAWAR, March 8 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Mar, 2017 ) : An eight-day long photo exhibition themed as "Human stories through photography" is going to kick off here at the Nishtar Hall Gallery at 12 noon (Thursday).
The Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP), Directorate of Culture and United Nations, European Union, United Nations Information Centre, Embassy of France in Pakistan, UKAid and Agency France Press have jointly organised the event.
The exhibition will showcase a collection of 102 professional photographs documenting human stories of development in Pakistan. The event is aimed at promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The exhibition will start at 10am and continue till 4pm at Nishtar Hall Gallery daily and open to students, both male and female, and families. Secretary sports, Tourism and Culture Muhammad Tariq, TCKP Managing Director Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, Director Culture Ajmal Khan, director general for UN Sustainable Development Goals, consular for development and culture corporation and other dignitaries will attend the exhibition.
The photo exhibition will focus on the SDGs that represent a common agenda adopted by the world leaders to end poverty, fight inequality and injustice and tackle the climate change by 2030.
